Sand City - predominantly a business community and has a number of larger retail stores. The West End area of Sand City, once an industrial area, hosts a growing artists' colony.

Seaside - its convenient location gives residents and visitors an opportunity to experience all of the amenities that the Monterey Peninsula has to offer…from wine tasting to whale watching…and everything in between.
